Dynamount X1-R Review

The Dynamount is an innovative piece of technology that allows to remotely control the position of any microphone with great precision and recall capability. This “robot” can be controlled via USB or WI-FI so it can be positioned anywhere around the studio, giving the sound engineer an never before available tool for recording, mixing and re-amping.

The Dynamount X1-R can move on 2 different axis with a range range of motion of 6 1/4 inches (16cm) and 5 1/2 inches (14cm) and rotate the microphone 360 degrees. With a capacity of 5 lbs (2.2 kg) the Dynamount can easily support larger microphones.

With a weight of 3.4 Libs (1,5 KG), each arm is about 14 inch (35cm) long. The unit comes complete with power adapter, microphone extensions and manual.

The X1-R is the flagship model and it retails at around £720.00 (937 Euro, 1040 USD).
